A high performance integrated refrigerated air dryer is pre-installed inside of the compressor cabinet. This lowers the dew point of the air to 39°F providing clean and dry compressed air downstream. A refrigerated dryer protects your valuable downstream equipment from contaminants and prevents water from building up inside the receiver tank.
A Chicago Pneumatic CPBg D compressor will run cooler than most compressors due to the oversized cooler and optimal ventilation. Fresh air is taking from the cool side of the compressor, keeping the electrical components cool and the airend warmer to burn off condensate. This results in less rust and debris buildup on the bearings and airend. The oversized coolers will also result in lower operating temperatures and optimal ventilation flow.
The CPBg series with dryer is managed by the ES4000 Standard microprocessor controller. This electronic control unit is programmed for energy saving operation with intelligent shutdown. The ES4000 control can be programmed to shutdown in accordance with your plant air demand and reduce long periods of unloaded operation, reducing power cost and saving hundreds of dollars per year.
