Shopping at Portland Compressor is safe and easy.
| Safety First We use
DigiCert for our website SSL certificates. We
have the new "EV" certificate which displays a
green address bar when using the latest web
browsers such as Internet Explorer 7.0, Firefox
3, Opera 9.5 and Google Chrome.
We received
the Extended Validation certificate, the
latest in SSL (secure socket layer) technology, by passing a
more stringent authentication procedure than
with standard certificates, which verifies we
are for real. We believe this will become the
new standard in SSL certificates and we prefer
to lead rather than follow.

Find what you are looking for
| Simple Search
Usually the quickest way to find items is to search for
them either with the Simple Search or the Advanced Search shown below.
If you are looking for a particular part such as an 240794 just enter
that into the search box and click the Go! button.

Use this search method for finding items that did not
appear in the Simple Search or to reduce the results returned by the
simple search. |

| Browse by Category
In this example we clicked on Airless Paint Sprayers.
Doing so displays the subcategories of Airless Paint Sprayers;
Accessories, Parts, Electric and Gas. We then clicked on Electric to
display all of our Electric Airless Paint Sprayers.

| Browse by Manufacturer
This is similar to searching by Category but is in the
upper horizontal menu and displays products by the company who makes the
product. Just hold your cursor over the Manufactures menu item and a
dropdown menu will appear. Move your cursor down that menu to the
desired manufacturer and click it to list products made by that maker.

Adding items to your cart
| Adding Multiple Items
You can add multiple items from the same page, here's how...
Products such as airless spray tips are a single product in our store
with many size options. Lets say you want two LTX515 tips and one
LTX413; Click your browsers back button.
repeat steps for each additional size selectionAfter selecting all the tips you want, please
continue shopping. |

| About Kits Some
products are available as a "kit". Kit products are normally;
A special or item that includes a discounted item
Configurable products - such as compressor tank size
Items with optional add-ons possibly at a discounted price
With these items the Add to Cart button is down the page
a ways, after the description and options that are available. After
selecting the choices you want, click the Update Kit Price and the Add
to Cart button will appear. You can then click that button to put your
customized item in your cart. |
| Viewing your cart contents You will see your
shopping cart contents each time you add an item to your cart. You can
also view the cart anytime you are in the store by clicking the
Shopping Cart
link in the upper right corner.
Changing the Quantity of
an Item
In the Quantity box for each item you would like to
change, highlight then type the quantity desired, then click the Update
Cart button. If the quantity desired exceeds current inventory, the
quantity available for purchase will be shown. Click the Delete button if you no
longer want to buy a particular item.
Checkout When your shopping is complete and
the quantities in your cart are right click the Checkout Now button to
proceed with purchasing your online order. |

Just enter your e-mail address and password and click the
Sign in & Checkout button. Your information will

Click the Register & Checkout button.
On the next screen enter the required information; name

Shipping Options There are normally several
shipping options available, most or all will be UPS. Some items ship free
and will usually be sent UPS Ground, freight truck or USPS at our
discretion. If you have both free shipping items and items subject to
shipping charges, the store automatically excludes the free shipping item(s)
from the available shipping options and charges. We are working on getting
the store to allow you to upgrade free shipping items to faster options for
a shipping charge.
| Payment Info Here you enter your payment method and information.
We currently accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and PayPal in our store
and can also do Cashiers Checks and wire transfers for phone orders.
Your payment data is secured by a VeriSign Site
Certificate and we do not store that information on any of our systems.

| Order Confirmation / Review
You will be shown all the information you have entered
(except only the last four of your credit card number)
and a summary of what you ordered for final review. Please make sure
everything is correct before clicking the Click Once to Place Order button.
