The Graco Magnum paint sprayer manifold filter will filter the paint before the material reaches the hose and the gun. Not properly using a manifold filter can cause small particles of dirt and debris to enter the gun. This can cause damage to the internal parts of the gun, may puncture the airless spray tip, and may cause defects in the paint spray pattern
One benefit to the Magnum airless paint sprayers is that they automatically clean the manifold filter when the drain valve relieves pressure.
